EVENT RULES
I have read and understood the Event Rules and agree to abide by the terms set out therein.
GENERAL DISCLAIMER
All participants pledge to raise a minimum £300.00 per person for Midwich Group.
PARTICIPATION
I can confirm that I am voluntarily participating in the event and that I am physically fit and capable of completing the 32-mile walk. I understand that the Pier 2 Pier Norfolk will involve long-distance walking over varied terrain and weather conditions.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I acknowledge that participation in the Pier 2 Pier Norfolk involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, weather-related risks and accidents. I accept full responsibility for any injury, illness or loss that may occur as a result of my participation.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I agree to release, waive and hold Midwich, East Anglia Children's Hospice (EACH), event organisers, volunteers and sponsors, harmless from any liability, claims, demands or causes of action arising out of or in connection with my participation in the event, including personal injury, property damage, or loss, except where caused by gross negligence.
MEDICAL TREATMENT
I consent to receive medical treatment in the event of an emergency, and I accept that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred.
FUNDRAISING & DONATIONS
I understand that all funds raised for Pier 2 Pier Norfolk are for the benefit of East Anglia Children's Hospice (EACH). Midwich will never profit from any fundraising activity. I agree to raise funds responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and ethical guidance.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
I understand that I am responsible for my own belongings and equipment during the Pier 2 Pier Norfolk. The organisers accept no responsibility for lost or stolen items.
COMPLIANCE
I agree to follow all EVENT instructions, safety guidelines, and directions provided by the Pier 2 Pier Norfolk organisers or volunteers. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
By registering for the Pier 2 Pier Norfolk, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the terms and conditions.
PRIVACY POLICY
I understand and agree that by submitting an online registration to participate in this event, I am consenting to receive email and postal communications from Midwich Group. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure emails regarding my participation in the event sent by Midwich Group and/or event organisers (including but not limited to email receipts, tickets and advanced notices) are received by me, and are not redirected to Spam or Junk folders or sent to email addresses I do not have access to.
I acknowledge that my data will only be used for marketing purposes, including but not limited to electronic marketing, if I provide specific consent for this during the registration process. I understand that I may unsubscribe from any marketing emails I do opt in to receiving at any time, either by changing the option in my Profile Settings or by calling Midwich Group at any time.
I am aware that Midwich Group will never sell or otherwise distribute my details to any third party, except in regards to providing health and safety data to the event organisers for use in that respect only.
