The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is perhaps Britain's most 𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 hikewalking challenge. Taking place in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the challenge involves the ascent and descent of all three peaks in just 𝟏𝟐 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬. Our Team of 40 courageous participants will take part and raise a minimum of £300 for their chosen 'Gift of AV' charity. lets help them reach their target whilst they race the 12 hour clock.
Aaron is fundraising for Dogs Trust with all net proceeds going to the charity.
Since 1891, Dogs Trust have been working for a better future for dogs and the people who love them. When a dog is in distress, they care for them. When a dog needs a home, the charity find them a loving family and when an owner needs a helping hand they are ready to step in. For every dog and every owner the charity are by their side through everything. The charity care for over 15,000 animals each year as well as running training courses for owners and their dogs. Their promise to never put down a healthy dog has been their rallying cry for years and it is the cornerstone for what they stand for. The organisation want to see all dogs living full, safe and happy lives and together they have been able to make huge strides forward.
The charity follows six main steps which include:
- Rescue and rehoming
- Education programs
- Preventing cruelty
- Dog school
- National dog surveys
Fundraisers like Aaron, allow the charity to provide life changing care and forever homes for over 12,500 furry friends.
