The National Three Peaks Challenge is TOUGH both physically and mentally! This extreme challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours. The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. 1 in 4 people struggle with mental illness which means we all know someone who has suffered. Whether that be openly or, sadly, in private. This can unfortunately, sometimes, lead to devastating consequenses. It's so important that people have access to the correct support, which is where Mind come in. Mind's mission is to provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
To keep this amazing service running Mind rely on charitable donations no matter how big or small which is why I have committed myself to this incredible challenge. So, with that in mind thank you for visiting my page and for any donation you are able to make. It all goes a long way.
