Fundraising for National Three Peaks - Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours!

The National Three Peaks Challenge is TOUGH both physically and mentally! This extreme challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours. The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles.

Myself and 29 colleagues have each signed up to take on the challenge in aid of charities that are close to us personally and in my case the chosen charity is Mind. 

1 in 4 people struggle with mental illness which means we all know someone who has suffered. Whether that be openly or, sadly, in private. This can unfortunately, sometimes, lead to devastating consequenses. It's so important that people have access to the correct support, which is where Mind come in. Mind's mission is to provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
