Kelly is fundraising for Big C
The charity was founded in Norfolk during the 1970s and the founders vowed to provide local people with better access to treatment and support closer to home. Over the last 40 years their vision has become a reality with the Big C raising over £40 million annually from the community and generous funders/ fundraisers like Kelly.
The charity funds specialist equipment and significant research projects at the Norwich Research Park benefiting both local communities and global cancer understanding.
Every pound donated to the Big C directly supports those affected by cancer in the local community. By donation it will make a difference to the charities:
- Front-Line Charitable Service - for every £1 donated, 83.9p goes directly towards the front-line services. These services included emotional support, practical assistance and complementary therapies for cancer patients and their families.
- Community fundraising and Gifts-in-Wills - Big C's community of dedicated individuals, businesses and groups work together to raise vital funds which will support local people with cancer diagnoses and their families.
