On Friday, 19th June, I'll be taking on an unforgettable challenge - a charity wing walk - all in support of Cancer Research UK. That means I'll be strapped to the wing of a biplane, soaring through the air at speeds of 80-110mph! It's a huge step outside of my comfort zone and promises to be an incredible adrenaline rush - but it's all for a cause that truly matters.
I'm proud to be supporting Cancer Research UK, the leading cancer charity, dedicated to saving lives through research, influence and information. Their work has helped double cancer survival rates in the UK over the past 50 years, and they continue to fund vital research into prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. They also provide essential support and guidance to patients and families facing a cancer diagnosis.
By taking on this challenge, I hope to play a small part in supporting that life-changing work. Every donation, no matter what size, will help fund groundbreaking research and bring us closer to a world where cancer is no longer a life-threatening disease.
My participation in this event has been made possible through Midwich's 'Gift of AV' initiative, which ensures that no profit is ever made from charity events - meaning every penny raised goes directly to where it's needed most.
