I'm taking on the 32-mile Pier to Pier walk along Norfolk's coastline to raise funds and awareness for East Anglia Children's Hospice (EACH). This long-distance walk will be a real test of endurance, but it's also a meaningful way to support children and families facing life-limiting conditions. By taking on this challenge, my fundraising will directly help fund the vital care and services that EACH provides across the region.
EACH delivers incredible support to children and young people with life-threatening conditions, as well as their families, offering care that goes beyond medical needs. From specialist nursing and symptom management to emotional and practical support, they are there every step of the way - helping families make the most of their time together, creating precious memories and providing comfort during the most difficult moments. Knowing that this support exists is what makes taking on this challenge so important.
The Pier 2 Pier challenge is an exciting and impactful way to get involved in the cause, but it won't be easy. Covering 32 miles along the coastline will push me physically and mentally, especially across varied terrain and unpredictable conditions. However, every mile walked represents a step forward in making a real difference in the lives of those supported by EACH.
This challenge is part of Midwich's 'Gift of AV' initiative, and Midwich will never profit from any fundraising event.
All money raised will go directly to EACH, meaning your generosity will go exactly where it's needed most, making a direct and meaningful difference.
