Peter Boughen's Story
I'm taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money and awareness for Parkinson's UK, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by Parkinson's and funding groundbreaking research into better treatments and ultimately, a cure.
Every hour, two people in the UK are diagnosed with Parkinson's. The condition affects more than 150,000 people across the UK and impacts movement, mental health and daily life in many different ways. Parkinson's UK works tirelessly to provide support, information and hope to those living with the condition, while driving forward vital research that could transform the future for people affected by Parkinson's.
By supporting my challenge, you'll be helping Parkinson's UK continue its essential work and make a real difference to the lives of individuals and families living with Parkinson's.
💙 A donation of £5 could help Parkinson's UK provide trusted information and support to people newly diagnosed with the condition.
💙 A donation of £10 could help fund groundbreaking research into better treatments and improved quality of life for those living with Parkinson's
💙 A donation of £20 could help support vital services, resources and campaigns that empower people affected by Parkinson's and their families.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a demanding 24-mile trek, and every donation, no matter the size, will help support Parkinson's UK in its mission to improve lives and find better treatments for Parkinson's.
